I was in Grosvenor Casinos last week and had been loosing all night, around 2 o'clock in the morning the cards started to run my way and the f**king casino closed the table on me.
Casinos often have to close tables during the night, this is mainly due to staff finishing their working shifts. Casinos generaly try to staff there peak trading times and then work backward around the clock. However when closing a table, the desicion is normally based on two factors,

Firstly They could close the table with the smallest amount of money being wagered, they see this as impacting the least on the overall Casino result (win or loss)

Secondly, If you were playing with reasonable to high levels of money, The Casino could close the table that your on to 'Lock in' the result.
This ensures the winning casino table game stays that way and this generaly unsettles the players who have to move. In addition to this, many gamblers accept that the casino will win more times then the players, however these players often wait for patterns in games and try to exploit a change in (run) pattern by increasing their bet to maximise the oppertunity. Casinos hate this and love to close table games before the pattern swings toward the player.

If they can lock in your money and make it difficult to get back, they will!
